What we process

Video, audio and transcripts are processed locally by HUUSH. The account service stores verified email, display name, sessions, a random installation identifier, device/activation records, purchase and entitlement records, export authorization status and security activity. Export authorization does not upload your media or transcript. HUUSH stores credentials and signed receipts securely in macOS Keychain. Preview version 0.1.4 and later uses the login Keychain so sign-in survives quitting. Earlier previews kept credentials only in memory. A non-secret random installation identifier is retained to keep device linking stable.

AppAtlas keeps its installed application inventory on your Mac. Optional app-information lookups contact external catalogs and developer sources; the full inventory is not uploaded. Its Metloub integration sends your verified account identity, random installation identifier, Mac name, activation and entitlement requests. AppAtlas stores sign-in credentials and signed offline receipts in macOS Keychain.

Purpose and providers

Account and licensing records provide the service you request; security records protect accounts and prevent abuse; financial records support accounting, refunds and disputes. The configured providers are OVH for hosting, Resend for verification/support email, Polar for payments and receipts, Cloudflare/OpenAI Sites for the marketing website, and Google Drive for encrypted offsite backups. These providers may process data internationally under their service arrangements. Optional announcements default to off.

Retention

Account and ownership records remain while needed to provide your license. Scheduled cleanup removes security activity older than 90 days, audit activity older than 180 days, expired verification records after one day and expired sessions after 30 days. Financial, purchase, trial, support and account-request records are retained as needed to operate access, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations; these records are not automatically erased by account closure. Encrypted backups may retain deleted records until recovery copies are retired. Contact us for a deletion review and information about the records and recovery copies that must be retained.

Your choices

You can export your account data and review/revoke sessions or device activations in metloub Account. Email changes and deletion requests are reviewed to protect ownership and necessary financial records. Request correction, access, deletion or recovery at hello@metloub.com; ownership must be verified before sensitive changes. Where applicable, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. The app does not collect media for advertising.
